Transhumance is one of the most brilliant insights that man has ever had to make the most of the earths trophic resources.
We set out on a journey with the animals, an important source of sustenance, towards the pastures suitable for their well-being.
A rigorously structured and organized journey that united men and animals in needs; a journey in which the rest, the shelters, the roads, the food sources, the water and everything that the territory could offer, was not only for the animals, but also for the men who accompanied them.From this idea, two proposals and examples of itineraries are born that wind through territories where it is still possible to see authentic signs, despite the inevitable alternation of anthropogenic transformations.We like to submit these proposals to you as non-obligatory itineraries, rather, as a direction along which even your curiosity will guide you to discover episodes and testimonies.
